HOW TO PLAY

Pieces drop one at a time into a well ten cells wide and twenty tall. A row that is completely filled disappears and everything above it falls down. The shapes come from a shuffled set of seven, so every shape turns up once in each group of seven, and a NEXT preview shows what is coming.

Every 10 cleared lines raise the level and make pieces fall faster. When the stack reaches the top of the well, the run ends.

CONTROLS

KEYBOARD	Left / Right to move (hold to repeat), Up or Space to rotate, Down to drop faster.
TOUCH	Arrow buttons to move and drop faster, the round button to rotate.

SCORING

Clearing 1, 2, 3 or 4 rows at once scores 40, 100, 300 or 1200 points, times the current level. Each cell of soft drop adds 1 point.

TIPS

• Leave one column empty and save the long straight piece for it: four rows at once pays 30 times more than a single.
• Keep the surface flat. Tall towers and deep holes are what end most runs.
• Check the NEXT preview before you place the current piece.
