A snake, a walled arena and one cherry at a time. The classic idea, drawn in plain black and white, with a twist that keeps the field getting more crowded.
You steer a snake around a fixed 24 by 32 grid. Every cherry you eat adds a segment to your tail and speeds the snake up by about five percent, so the game tightens the longer you survive.
Every second cherry also leaves a mine somewhere on the field, up to 24 of them. Touch a wall, a mine or any part of your own body and the run is over. There are no extra lives: one mistake ends it.

SCORING
Each cherry is worth 10 points. Your score sits in the top-right corner while you play.
TIPS
Keep the centre open early on. Mines can appear anywhere, and an empty middle is your escape room later.
Never follow a cherry into a pocket one cell wide. At high speed there is no time to turn back out.
Plan the turn after the cherry, not only the one that reaches it.
